This image, Unity, was captured close to three decades ago in Millesgården, Stockholm, Sweden; I felt the artist Carl Milles’ Angels captured the principal energy for our 2016 Word-Of-The-Year: Unity.

In the mid 80’s; we were art students, young, free and off the grid. Today; we look to return to more simplify life by sharing more happiness and peace with our grown families, maturing friends and global communities.

About the Image, Unity:
The Hand of God: “A small man standing in a large hand. He looks upward and his body is tense, his fingers spread wide. Granted, he balances on the thumb and forefinger of the large hand, which seems strenuous. But his focus lies elsewhere. The man´s attention is directed toward something in the heavens, as if he were receiving a message or carrying on a conversation.”

Today, the conversation is possibly about building more harmony with our differences, more celebration of life… More Unity.
